Default ECU question

Bought an EM1 a weak ago, obviously it has a theft title, how many don't. It looks like when someone put the ECU back in or was messing with the wiring they didn't do a good job, I just wanted to check that this was the right ECU and how is it supposed to put in, the rubber feet at the bottom or what. Thanks

Should there be plugs not attached to anything?

looks like a JDM ecu becuase of the square shape. But i could be wrong, its a OBD2b ECU for a 99-00 SI DOHC b16a2.

It's a P2T ECU, and that's the right ECU for your application (99/00 Si, OBD-IIB)

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by duheeat &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">looks like a JDM ecu becuase of the square shape. But i could be wrong, its a OBD2b ECU for a 99-00 SI DOHC b16a2.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yeah, USDM ones are rectangular, that looks to be a JDM one, possibly from an SiR - but I don't know that much about JDM ****. It'll definitely work fine with your motor though (assuming it's a B16a/a2/a3).

okay, the right ECU is good, why are there some plugs (small blue & larger green) with nothing plugged in? and is the ECU in the right position? guess I need to make it fit.

37820-P2T-A11 came on a 99-00 USDM SI coupe
so correct ECU.

the wiring looks fine, unless there is something we can't see in the pics.
you may want to pull the service connector wires out ofmr under the ECU. Just to be sure they will not get pinched.

There really isn't anything wrong with the way it's mounted, the rubber feet should slip into the C shaped bracket to the left and two screws should hold the ECU in place.
I'm not sure why there is a harness under the bottom mount, it may need a slight adjustment.
