I bought a so call 96-98 gsr ecu...the model is 37820-p72-a02 I was wondering is this the right ecu or a 94-95 ecu??? also when I hook it up to my 96 ek hatch.....with a stock d15 motor....it seems like it's going to quit, also it goes like 15 miles top in first gear....does this means theat my ecu is bad or fried out....and how would I know if my ecu is fried out???? help me out experts...

 

I don't know if I read your post right, but why are you using a GSR ecu with your stock D-series motor?

 

well I was going to put a b16a2 from a 99-00 civic just haven't got to it yet....but I Just want to make sure the ecu was working before I do the swap and finds out that I have a bad ecu, if i have a bad ecu.....would the car even start????

 

i run a 99-00 si ecu in my 99 ex and it starts and runs Great. not sure on the Gsr ecu

 

does the 99-00 si ecu have any increase over the stock ex ecu????
