Civic EG AC problem....after done a swap..PLEASE HELP

Default Civic EG AC problem....after done a swap..PLEASE HELP

i done a b18 swap in my ride..and i still have my eg6 Oem ac stuff there..i brought a b18 ac compressor and i find out the wire are diffent..so now..wat i need to do for my AC to be working fine..do i need to change everything from d16 into b18..or i can..just change something..PLEASE HELP

you actually need to utilize your stock civic a/c compressor in conjunction with del sol vtec a/c bracket.

if you had taken the time and effort to research the swap you would've known you could've simply transferred your stock compressor to your b18.

hopefully you didn't inhale too much freon in the process.

so reconnect your original compressor, buy the crv ac bracket and tensioner, re-use your stock dseries ac belt.

and research in the future.

you did a swap...not done a swap...

Right, dont get the del sol vtec bracket...get the crv p7j instead - its much cheaper and is the same (be sure it has the adjuster pulley attached)

it doesn't..because the AC hose it doesn't fit ..that's why i need to find something that i can make it fit..

what the hell hose do you have, that doesnt fit your D compressor?

and b18 connector and d16 connector are diffent.that's why can't use the d16 hose on the b18 that's wat i ment.

don't use the crv bracket unless you don't need a torque mount. the crv frame rail is higher than the civics, so the stud on the bracket for the mount is higher and the rubber mount doesn't fit on it when in the civics. the del sol vtec p54 bracket is the only 100% direct bolt on.

I just used one so i just found this out.

um...I, as well as many others, are using the p7j bracket just fine...
Yes, Im using the stock civic mount
