i got an autometer a/f gauge the other day but i need to know how to hook it up. power and ground are obvious but where does the purple wire go to?

 

a/f gauge on a narrowband tells you nothing, just a light show.. ricer crap.

You want oil presure, oil temp, and water temp, just hope you can return it.

 

it was $10, i dont have money for a wideband right nowor tools to add an o2 sensor. all i want to know is how to hook it up.

Try searching for the manual on google based on the make of the gauge.

 

though it wont help much, just provide a festive colorful light show, you want to hook the purple wire up to the white wire on the o2 sensor, or if there is only one, than it of course....
