Default Swap: F20A4 (european F22A) into a 92 EG dx. Need feedback asap!

Hi, I have a cheap DX on the hand now, and with my old 4th gen Prelude engine (Prelude has a vtec swap) in the garage I kinda want to, like. Have some fun really.

And yes, I know it will be an expensive swap, especially since I'll buy new mounts and axles from hasport. But keep in mind I'm norwegian! The DX costs around 3200 USD here! A 92-95 VTi costs about 12000 USD!

Anyway, I'm kinda in the dark about this. Anyone think it will differ that much from a H-series swap? All the mounts should bolt up, but how about shift linkage, wiring, etc?

Any feedback would be appreciated

most of the US folks here aren't going to know anything about that F20A4.

You'll need to find out the exact US equivalent. What wiring schematics, etc. and use that as your rosetta stone.

Before you can do anything with this swap you have to find out exactly what you're working with.

Is this thing obd0, obd1, obd2a or obd2b?

I'd reccomend going F2D or F2B, it's a better swap and it will probably be cheaper.

alright, dont mean to hi-jack this thread, im starting to realize what f2d, f2b is. how it cheaper though? F-series long block with d series tranny or B series tranny right?

That would be monster. i would go D!, cheaper easy to come by.

b2k isn't possible, the engines rotate in a different direction.

My F2D needed one integra mount, all other mounts were stock. Stock axles, simple wiring, chipped ecu, k-series power, half the price
