black - ground (chassis)
green - rpm signal (blue wire behind cluster or at distributor or at ecu)
white - illumination (dimmer switch)
red - 12v +

If you're going to run the tach off the distributor, you need to splice into the blue wire with the white tracer (or blue/white wire). thats the tach signal. The white one goes to any wire that illuminates something on the dash ( something for the heater controls would probably be easiest ).

you're making this way to hard..

On the distrubutor theres 2 wires together away from the other wires,,1 is blue, tap into that for the rpm signal..

or like i said use the same blue wire behind the cluster,or the blue wire at the ecu pins..

Mine only goes up to 8, cause I'm tasteful.

I don't wanna mess with that ****. Plus the stock one is always way off at higher RPM. I think I'm gonna just rip it out and put a shift light n the air vent though.

I got a SWP shift light/ digital tach i still haven't installed. I've seen em before tho, nice cause you can turn down or off the shift light and set the shift point without any ghey pills.
