my crx is idling at 3000 rpm with the check engine light on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default my crx is idling at 3000 rpm with the check engine light on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my crx is idling real high and when driving it kicks real hard and drops to 2000 rpm with the check engine light on and it sounds like it is missing lke bogging and then it takes off again and the ligt is still on and then when its in park it goes back up to 3000 rpm and the ligt turns off if you know anything about this and have answers it would be great if you let me know ive been having this problem for 2 weeks now and cant figure out what it is ................................

its a single zc and i checked the computer and its not throwing no codes and i run it on the freeway right now and its not doing it anymore ....heres a question i have a water problem there is alot of water on the floor board of the car it gets like that when ever it rains and theres no carpet and the computer and the harnesses get wet can the water cause the computer to trip ...and how can i get rid of the water is the dain ducts clogged in the sunroof or what....is it that or something else.....

Seriously, get rid of the water problem, get a new ECU and see if it solves the problem. Electrical things don't mix with water.

I'll bet it's coming in from your door seals.

I would have been super-helpful in spoon feeding you an answer to your question but you answered it yourself.

electrical stuff+rain=bad... heck, you even seemed to think so yourself.

now, what you could do instead of calling me names over the innerwebs is go out to your car and get your neighbor to spray it with the garden hose, to see where the water comes in (you might wanna disconnect the battery for this.)

Once you know where the leak is you can promtly fix it so no further damage occurs.

If I really needed to say all that though theres bigger problems here than your obvious elementary school drop out.

thanks evrybody im just here for second opinions man i had bad experiences in the past replacing everything i could think of and nothing when i finally got it fixed i had a empty pocket ...
