has anyone use a super t3 45trim turbo on a LS? im looking for something that has a quick spool and can do 250hp. would this turbo do the job? this is just a temp turbo til i built the block again.

heres the spec of the turbo

• .48 Hot
• 2" OUTLET
• TURBINE WHEEL: EXDUCER: 1.81", MAYOR : 2.48"
• COMPRESSOR WHEEL: EXDUCER: 1.67", MAYOR : 2.36"

That turbo is too small. It will have a really hard time making 250whp without IATs being pretty high. I'd strongly suggest a 60 trim T3 or a used GT28r for your application.

Yeah, that turbo is fairly small for your setup. You can reach 250whp, but not at low boost.

turbo is perfect for a d, i ran a very very similar one but with a .60 cold housing not a .42. i had 7 psi atl ike 3500 and it held very nice to 7500. car was smooth, not crazy fast but it felt very nice.

komat, its pretty small for 250whp on a stock ls. it sounds like its one of the saab turbos. to help it out a little i would suggest a .63 turbine ar just to help it stay going up top.

can it be done, very likely.

will it be effecient andd doeable on less than 12-15 psi, maybe not...
