Default Building a Hybrid Turbo

For the last four months or so, however long I've been turbo, I've been using a turbo with a damaged compressor wheel. It made great boost, but won't boost over 9lbs. The turbo is a T3 .60 trim (.60 cold/.63 hot) off of an unknown year Ford Thunderbird. I bought another turbo yesterday, I found a 86 Merkur 5 speed at the junkyard. I was just working on the turbo and I realized it was a .48 hot side. I'm worried that the .48 is going to be too small for the high revving B16, can I swap hot sides?

By the way, from what I know Merkurs are also 60 trim. Is the trim the part that matters when swapping housings?

Cliffnotes:

Turbo1: (Bad Wheel) T3 60 trim .63 cold side .60 hot side
Turbo2: (Good Wheel) T3 60 trim .63 cold side .48 hot side

How can I tell what "Stage" the wheel is?

.48 is good for redline liek my VW till liek 7k, you want .63 turbine, tak eadvantage of the hgh revving motor, i bought but then sold a ford t3 , was .63 hot .60 cold, so its out there, i say go with a t3t4 tho, get .63 hot and .60 cold in an E compressor youll make *****, i use it in my vw 8v, make full boost at 3500 pulls to redline which is 6400, peak power is 6400, proabbly more since i just raised my rev limiter

I dont know if you read my question at all...

I already have a T3 .60 / .63, I have no intrest in spending $565 on an E housing, seems like a waste. I just want to know how you can tell if the hot sides can be swapped. What all has to be the same on the donor turbo and the one your building?
