Default Rod bearing Help !

bought some ACL rod bearings for my rebuild on my z6, question is i noticed the rod bearings (OEM) are color coded on one side of each of them. The ACL bearings are not.. how do i go about doing this? The service manual shows colors or numbers that mark slightly different sized bearings, but like i said the ACL's are not marked. please dont flame and tell me to bring it somewhere since i dont know what Im doing, everyone had to start somewhere right?

This is the first d16 engine ive built , with the only others being small engines such as fourwheelers and snowmobiles.

Clue me in here Im probably missing something,

Thanks guys

Please download a free Helms manual (Hondahookup.com & other sites) and follow the Plastigage process for figuring out what bearings you'll need. But others just use the "one-size-fits-all" ACLs (which you have) instead.

If i'm not mistakin all acl bearings come in the middle range of the honda chart. The people who sell it says it always works fine but you should use plastigauge to check all your clearances. Also if you get your cranck micropolished you should be able to run a tighter clearance bearing. If you want all the right bearings you can order them from honda for like 200 bucks for all your bearings.

There not one size fits all there in the middle of the factory chart and usually work fine.
