damn... really need some help.
ok, so my timing belt skipped teeth an stretched and today as i was getting ready to replace it i tried to turn it over once more and all i get it f*ckin rapid clicking, like the radio and everything just flash and all you hear is a rapid "click,click,click,click" and no signs of even trying to turn over...
what could that even be?

damn nobody believes me when I say single cams are a NON interfearence motor. some people should just get some more hands on experience before they post

how much more hands on do you want than 11hrs a day????
SOHC's DO BEND VALVES. PULL THE BELT OFF AND ROTATE THE CRANK. how the hell would an engine with such tight piston to valve clearance not bend valves???

you would have an easier time pointing out honda motors or any import motor nowadays that isn't an interference motor.....they just may be more i guess you could say lenient with the contact of valves and pistons like an ls motor....you can get away with maybe skipping 2-3 teeth but beyond that you're running a serious risk especially if it's at considerable engine speed.
