Default Cams won't turn over, HELP

well here is the problem. I have installed my old b16a ported OBD0 head with RM valvetrain, oversized valves. Removed the LS/vtec plug and tap. using Omniman LMA's and freahly given a 3 angle valve job and resurfaced. Bolted to a sir2 block I had and purchased a buddy club headgasket(.4mm) and BC 3+ cams. Now if I manually turn it the belt skips . I tried it without the plugs or timing belt and it still don't turn. Won't try to go in case I am hitting the valves to the pistons u know.

So with all that said, what u guys think it could be. I did swap cam caps(as I thought thew obd1 were better looking ) Still ain't it....

I hope you lubed the cams very well and tensioned the belt properly. I hope you mean that you changed oiling rails, and not the cam caps from and obd1 motor

i think you should just try to loosen the valve adjustments...

**this one time when we were putting in cower stage 2 cam... we forgot to loosen the valve adjustments(lash). it was so hard to turnover at all(wouldn't even budge). almost strip the cam gear bolt from the cam shaft trying to turn over the cams with a big rachet.

I had the same problem. I forgot to lube the cams, journals, caps, and vlavetrain. Everything was dry as hell and the cams didnt want to move.
