Just rebuilded my engine and when I went to started for the first time it just did a whooping sound, like if the battery did not have enought current to turn the crankshaft. Can you think of something that I did wrong.
uhh, is the timing belt right? my friend did some **** to his car and didn't do the belt right. said he went to start it and it made a funny noise and bent his valves.

I dont think the dizzy would make it hard to turn over..
Just to check it remove the dizzy and try to crank it over by hand.. If its still hard then its something else..
I asked you in a previous post, If you rebuild the motor did you plastigauge to check the clearances on the bearings..
