What suspension with B16 swap?
Trending Topics
i've got a pretty cheap suspension setup in my hatch w/ b16 swap, but i love it! i'm running kyb agx's in the front, and kyb gr2's in the rear (since it's an '88) and H&R sport springs all around. no anti-sway bars, just a rear strut tower brace, and i'm having to problems rolling on itr's at auto-x's.
Nice setup Hybrid Hatch! I have the KYB AGX's up front but not installed yet. My car came with Jamex springs & shocks which btw suck! I want your setup with the GR2's in rear with H&R Sport springs.
Definitely post pics please!

Sure do, though I havent driven on them yet. (still build the car) I'm doing it from bottom up. It is expected to be on the road in about a week.

there's some pics of it on both those pages. the pics don't really do it justice, it sits pretty low. i LOVE the amount of drop. and for the price, you can't beat it! anymore questions, just lemme know!

I am about to purchase shocks and springs, in about 1 month I plan to do a B16 switch. What springs will be proper for this, coilovers or springs-which springs? The B16 has to be much heavier than the D15 and 50lbs (just an example) can make a big difference going around a turn.
If you plan on racing it, like autocross and hot lapping days... and doing it for competitive reasons, get koni yellows with GCs with like 400F/350R.
avoid those "true coilover" systems unless you're road racing for money... the cost doesn't outweigh the performance in those situations. It's more for the show at that point.
right now i have neuspeed spings and stock struts which sit me about 2 inches lower....but in about a month i am going koni's with ground control.....i have many friends with them or many differnt cars and they are very nice....

the progress system is niiiiice, i'm actually right now looking into getting either that or the tien HA system. i've got a friend w/ a '00 civic Si w/ the progress true coilover system, and it handles like no other! i don't know much about the H&R coilovers, i just have the sport springs now. peec
