i just got my self a autometer water temp gauge and wanted to know where everyone connects the sensor to? thanks

 

I took my stock sender out and screwed the gauge sender into the same place.

 

dam man your just helping me out with everything. i apriciate that (sp?) but where is the stock sender located?

 

Glad to be of help, it's right under the distributor on the head:

 

i don't think autometer's sender fits there, unless they've changed it since i last had one. when i had one i just tapped the sending wire to the gauge to the 1-wire sending unit in the side of the head.

 

could you just splice into the stock sensor?

 

you have to get a t fitting and use both if you dont use the stock, ur fans wont come on.
