I just got my h22 swap done. The car ran great for about a month. Then the the vtec quit working. I have done all the test to check the wiring and make sure that was ok. It all checked out fine, and I have good oil press. Just wondering if you guys had an ideas. Thanks

Your tach or speedometer stop working?

 

take you your vtec selonid off and clean it out inside some times they get built up with dirt and get blocked off

 

Solenoid.

Did it go out all of a sudden or did it sort of slowly get there.

 

Yeah the speedo quit working. It would sometimes work and then in the next gear it wouldnt then it just went out and went into to safe mode. Already cleaned the screen. Only CEL is for evap and EGR that where there to start with, No vtec CEL. Thanks for the help.

 

Your vtec wont work if your speedo is out. Get the clock fixed then see what happens, most likely you'll be fine after that.

 

VTEC will not engage if your speedometer is not reading.
Fix that, and your problems will be solved
