HELP! H22A in my EK bouncing out of VTEC w/CEL and Limp Mode
Swapped an H22 into my EK hatch, pulls good after some base tuning but when VTEC hits the motor slams out of power after a couple hundred RPM, throws a CEL and goes into Limp. I've tried 2 different VTEC solenoids (the 2nd solenoid which was confirmed working in another H22 seemed to keep me in VTEC for a couple hundred RPMs longer but still bounces out) and we took the ECU from the hatch and put it into my friend's Ferio w/an H22 and it was fine there. Car runs good otherwise and pulls strong until it engages VTEC. Anybody seen this before?

VTEC Solenoid Valve:
defective circuit or unplugged / defective solenoid valve
This is why we swapped in the working solenoid but it didn't fix things. Like I said it does temporarily engage VTEC.

check your oil pressure had a similar problem and found out it was my oil pump i have an LS V thoe check it out thoe might help
