ls vtec swap complete........but vtec problems.

ls vtec swap complete........but vtec problems.
ok guys the swap is complete but my o2 sensor for the headers is not hooked up yet, so my car isn't pulling as hard as my friends crx with a b17, so does a CEL = NO VTEC???

only some cels stop vtec from working and or A cel for oxygen sensor does not put it on limp mode
what is the cel(s)?
your speedo work?
it is low on oil?

my vtec does not want to work in my h22 civic... well is kind of does, you an hear something very light around 5k but there is no power gain. it only revs to like 6800 then it just dies
have you ran your vtec solenoid to switch and see if that makes it work? you should try that it is probably your last resort but will let you know if everything is working fine.
