2.25 or 2.5 custom piping?

my cousins say to get 2.25 but i want 2.5 whats is better.

2.5 buddy, if you going turbo minus well get the biger one.

Go with the 2.5" you will be LOUD Mine certainly is!!!!

2.5 means better flow=better power.....go for it..dont listen to your cousin!

this is a stupid newbie question but I have R1 silenced muffler. If i convert to 2.5" piping all the way & install a racing headers, can I assume it would the output sound be deeper in tone?

if youre goin turbo... 2.5 is the least diameter you want to get. 2.25 and lower is gonna cost you lots of power.
