Difference in piping size, 2.25" and 2.5"
I was wondering how much of an advantage it is to get 2.5" piping from the catback rather than 2.25". Considering the engine is d16y8 with only bolt-ons.

Re: (jerseybrandon)
2.5 is too big. Just looking at the diameter is a little misleading, the important thing is the cross sectional area of the piping. So 2.5" piping is almost 25% bigger than 2.25" piping. 2.25" is still a little on the big side if you are mostly stock, but it is a good way to go.
From what I've been reading, the general rule of thumb is 1 square inch of piping for every 60hp.
