Default painting oil pan

anyone ever done this? what type of paint did you use?

my pan is fubar'ed so i decided to bang it back into shape and plan on painting it in the morning. i've read someone repainting their pan but i don't remember where i saw it. any help is greatly appreciated.

i suppose autozone carries a certain paint for this job?

you don't understand it was spreading. i didn't want to risk running it and having the oil get under and start spreading like aids. then i'll have paint chips circulating in my motor.

ok, i guess that makes sense. I would just do as stated then if you are worried. Use high temp engine enamel paint.
