hes got a complete engine/tranny out of his 2000, all i know that he needs now is the obd converter, hes saying his 2000 has wires going to weird places and because im deployed in iraq i am unable to help him more, he doesnt have an account on here so he asked me to get info, from the way he described the extra wires it sounds like a map sensor (maf, iat, ect). i could really use some input, do i have the obd codes wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated

your best bet would be to reuse your headers and intake manifold assemby because it'll match up with your wiring already. then you're going to need a jumper for the ovd2 to obd1 or just keep it obd1 for tuning purposes.

oh yeah your going to need to keep the cable transmission unless you want to go out and buy the conversion for the hydro. but the motor was just blown, not the tranny, so just reuse it.

there's probably a lot of stuff i left out, but you're going to have to reuse a lot of stuff off the blown motor to make it easier. good luck

Well you could always use the obdo wiring and just change all sensors over to the other motor. Its not that hard also reuse the computer and dizzy of the 91.
