keep your z6 a y8 or skunk 2 wont do anything unless you had your intake bored out and had the IM bored out.

what are you looking for? z6's are good motors but not very good n/a, a good tune will yield like 15whp if the tuner knows what he is doing. and z6's are also amazing for boost but if you want n/a i would go with a tune.

you are going to have a hard time with nos or supercharger, unless your motor is built which i assume it is not. i also assume you are on a tight budget?? a turbo should get you there easily. nos can to but nos + stock motor = destruction.

have you seen hmt(homemadeturbo.com) you can build a turbo kit for cheap you just have to look for the parts. let me show you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STUltJBI9g0

these people make their kits with like 500-1000 bucks which is cheap. all you need to do is shop around for QUALITY used parts. and you will find some people just give them away.

and if you get a supercharger you wont have to worry about what kind of intake manifold you have

yeah but no offense but it will be harder to get a s/c sohc into 14's rather than a turbo one, although many factors are involved such as weight(crx). and tires and gearing. then worry about power.

depends on how deep into the 14s you want to go. i know more than a couple bolt on z6 powered cars that hit high 14s and i went lower 15s in a y8 ex with just intake and catback... match a good header like smsp or bisi, a good cam, tuning and a s/c and id bet on low 14s easy. just make sure the parts you buy compliment each other properly. turbo will get you farther, but if you dont want much then the s/c would probably be fine.

run 10 ponds on the s/c and you'll have no prob, my sc z6 is just as fast as my tuboed single cam, but a lot funner to drive
