cant change oil :(
Well i was under my car trying to change my oil for the first time on my s2000 (use to have a type R). I found the bolt next to "engine oil".. i turned it counter clock-wise and the bolt would not move a bit. I pushed so hard it broke to sock wrech i was using
.. i am guessing the last time honda changed my oil they over tightened it. What do you think i should do ? The car has 9,340 miles on it. it is also a 05.

the problem is that i bought the car in KY and i live in KS. I had the honda dealership down there change it before the dealer i bought the car from shipped it to me. Do you think i can take it to the honda dealership next to me and have them do it. maybe labor for free since i have the filter and oil already
it's tighten hard enough to break your wrench.... i have never heard of this... however, i have seem ppl turning wrong direction because their body is facing wrong way.
try using breaker bar or longer wrench to get the bolt out. you might need to re-tap the thread or replace the oil pan.

no matter what way you face it still turns the same way.

it doesn't matter what way you're facing when tightening, loosening a bolt. counter clock wise will still be the same thing 360 degrees all around the bolt.
i usually lay front to rear of the vehicle.. so i end up turning clock-wise to loosen the bolt. by doing this way, i don't get oil on my face. so thumbs down to yourself
