Default My LS/VTEC plan/build.

I want to feel special too , so i made myself a build thread.

I just traded my Si harness for a clean B18A1 disassembled longblock *complete* with 80,000 Miles! Gave the head to my buddy since he wanted it, and I have no use for it since i'm going put a vtec head on it

Block;
-B18A1
-LS Crank
-LS Rods
-ARP Rod bolts
-PR3/P30/ITR pistons? <--- which one do you guys prefer. I've heard PR3's are lighter?
-ACL Bearings
-OEM bottom end gasketkit
-22t Waterpump and Oil pump
-ARP headstuds GSR/ITR

Head;
-B16 or B18C <--- can't decide yet, but will be picking one up soon.
-stock valvetrain with new valve seals
-ITR cams
-Skunk2 Intake manifold
-Whale ***** Intake
-ITR header

Trans;
B16

I gathered all my Dturbo parts and at the last minute, I ditched it and opted for a LS/VTEC. Needed something more reliable for work/school/traveling.

The project starts TODAY! and any input from you guys is greatly appreciated!

Good luck bro. I believe you can do this reliably if you do it right. You should check out BamBam's build thread if you get the chance, it is what I'm modeling mine after.

here's a link to his and the following one is a link to mine. Looking forward to seeing yours done.
