opinions/ideas on how you clean your jacket/gear?

Default opinions/ideas on how you clean your jacket/gear?

i searched and didn't find any related topics... i was Just thinking how all you riders keep your jackets/gear cleaned after riding other than the usual wipedown... bugs, dirt, construction out here kills me.. my girlfriend always says my jacket smells like exaust... any tips or products people use that have worked for them???

For my leather jacket and pants for that matter. I'll fill up a big bucket of warm water, toss in a couple cap fulls of woolite (read the instructions), hand massage everything in the bucket. Rinse. Hang dry. Then once they are dry, I'll put some healthy doses of leather conditioner on the leathers.

I can't help you with textile, I don't wear that stuff.

For my helmet, when I'm not wearing it, I'll put a dryer sheet in there. It keeps it smelling so fresh and so clean clean

good info, never thought about the dryer sheet i'll have to use that one..
i have both leather & textile, i must admit my a* textile is a 8itch to keep clean...
