Default new set up, need psi help

I have a stock block d16, last year I ran 10 PSI and with no problems. This year I went to a 3mm greddy head gasket to lower compression...I want to know if maybe I should just stick with 10 PSI and the lower compression...I just got my head ported and polished along with my intake manifold. All new valve guides, new valve seals, grinded valves seats...the block is in perfect condition ~ 180 on all 4...just curious how much power I'll lose with the lower compression or if my engine can handle 12 psi...

for tuning I use a lamda meter and a vortec FMU with holley intake for fuel control.

it's not that insane, people do 11-12 even, though that's really pushin it. some blocks are just made on a really good day and have some good tuning.

yep, I put almost 10000 kms on my car last summer and the compression on my motor was still very high at the end of the season ~180 on all 4...I need to know if the larger head gasket will considerable reduce HP if I remain at 10 psi, or if its safew to go up to 12 (with proper tuning of course)...I know people that run 14 PSI on GRS engines stock block, just the larger head gasket...nebody?

Wow 10 psi, thats crazy. Anyway, I don't think it is the amount of boost that you need to worry about, as long as you can supply the fuel. It is the amount of force you are putting on the pistons and rods that I would worry about. If you up the boost 2 psi with the lower compression, and you are making the same power then it should be as "safe" as before you changed it. The rods in those motors are weak though, I'm suprised it lasted. If I were you I would leave it at 10 though and sacrifice a bit of power. I'm drunk now, so if this doesn't make sense, so be it.
