I HAVE A B20B MOTOR AND WHAT TRANNY SHOULD I USE . HASPORT ONLY GOTS MOUNTS FOR B18C COULD I USE THOSE DO I HAVE TO BUY A CONVERSION WIRING FOR OB2 TO OB1 TO USE THE P72 ECU WITH THAT BE THE BEST...I NEED PLEASE..
any hydro tranny will work. you dont need after market mounts just use teg ones. and just run the motor obd1 with a ls ecu use ls dizzy and your gona need a new intake mani anywase so get an obd1 ls mani. bam your motors obd1. b20 is basicly a bored out ls motor.

the crv's never came with a manual tranny only autos so there is no b20 manual tranny. if you drive the car alot i would go with the ls tranny other wise youll be reving too high at freeway speeds and thats not good for a b20.

Id say go with the GSR tranny. Its gearing is shorter than the LS tranny, and a bit little longer than the B16 tranny, kind of a good "right in the middle" spot to go with in my opinion. Also, if you are putting this in an EG, you can use your stock D-Series Tranny mount for the B-Series tranny. The stock D-series Hydraulic manual transmission mount works with any B-series hydraulic manual transmission. It might work for other models too, but Im not sure of it so Im not going to state that it will.

The CRV's did come in a 5-speed manual transmission. However, the CRV manual tranny would be the worst to go with if it was swappable, which from what I know its not swappable due to the fact that the majority of them (if not all) are 4WD transmissions.

calm down turn off the caps lock. any b series trans will fit, depending on what year civic or integra you have u need ek or eg/dc mounts, all b series motors use the same mounts specified to the chassis the motor is in. and why would you use a p72 on a b20? its for dohc vtec and that butterfly bs, us a p75 ls ecu or a b20 ecu (p54 or something). its kind of hard to tell you what to get when you havent told us what year and car this is going in

hey check it out i just did my swap and yo could look me up for all my Questions and answers...
any part comes from a 94-2001 INTEGRA.(non type R)
bur can tell you this right now.
1) use the two side mounts that came in your EG if they are any good...BUT you need an integra rear mount or a 99-00 si would work.
2) use the shift links from a INTEGRA
3) use the distributor that came with the motor if it's OBD2 it's is one plug...all i did was take the plugs from my sohc OBD 1 and reepinned the plugs. make sure you put wires were they go..
4) If your motor came with the IM taht doesn't exceed the motors height you don't necessarily need to buy a IM but if you do buy an LS one and get LS throttle link. just use the same one.and splice your throttle link to fit.
5)go with the b16 tranny it's worth the 200+ dollars more.
6)use the injectors off your OBD 1 motor.
7) use your stock harness.
8)use a p75 ECU
9) use an INTEGRA T braket.
