helping a friend install a dry zex system. Car is a 92 cx with gsr swap. Problem is that the intake keeps filling with gas and running out of the throttle body when key is turned on. Haven't tried to start it yet for fear of fire. Can anyone give any suggestions to why this is doing this? Could the Zex "brain" be bad? any help would be appreciated, thanks

 

Sounds like it could be a solinoid problem, try taking out the solinoid and testing it with a battery, it should make a slight clicking noise everytime you give it power, if not its stuck and once the brain primes it dumps fuel. Have you been checking the light on the brain for proper function.

Wow we feel stupid, we both have installed these before so we don't have an excuse, but instead of running the line with the jet to the vaccum side fp regulator we ran it to the flow side. by the way that doesnt work too well. If you read the directions half assed like I did though It is an easy mistake to make they are not too clear about the placement of that hose.
