Default problem after nitrous install (VCN-2000)

My friend Chad up at RandD had the kit on his car for a couple of days and it would throw a TPS code when it was spraying. He took it off cause he got pissed off at it. So I installed it in my car today. Went out to test it out and again with the tps code. It displays TPS ERROR on the display and I get a CEL 7 and the engine jerks kinda bad when the cel comes on. Anyone know what the problem could be? Its a Venom VCN-2000 kit. Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the signal comes from teh TPS. So check your wire connections.

CHeck the voltage coming form the TPS...

wow nice attitude! where on the intake chr pipe is the jet installed? is it before or after the air intake temp sensor? if youre spraying n20 before the sensor, its causing the temp to drasitically decrease.

the reason I am acting the way I am is because if you don't know the system you wont be able to help. This kit IS NOT your typical nitrous kit.

It is installed in the intake arm. I have a 92 so the temp sensor is in the intake mani.

I looked there. It did it on my car as well as Chad's. Thats the problem. It is getting a good read because it says what the throttle % is on the display.

well if it is happening on both cars wouldnt you have to assume that the problem lies within the unit itself??
