please help w/ choosing pistons
im building an ls motor for boost and nos my brother is building a gsr for boost
what would be the right piston compression ratio to go with.

some one told me to use 9:1 for boost and nitros and told my brother to use 9:8:1
for his gsr because he has a small turbo td05 does this sound right?

for your brother i think 9:8:1 will be fine. unless he is planning on bigger turbo and a lot more more boost with pump gas. but if he is going to run that turbo why he didn't stay stock bottom end will be find. i thinnk be a waste of money to change pistons just to run 10 pounds and 9:8. seriously. i will only change pistons andd rods if i will boost 15+ lbs. i thinks but good luck with both setups.
