Default Slightly Off-Topic:1997 Jeep Infinity Wiring?

A buddy of mine has a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the optional Infinity sound system. We've wired up the system with two different CD players and neither one will play the CD's. The tuner works fine. Is there a special wiring harness, or wire combination that anyone may know of? I've looked everywhere. TIA
