Remote wire help.(amp to deck)
The remote wire goes from the amp and to the Blue and white wire off the deck, correct? The blue and white wire only needs to connect to the amp wire?
Having a problem finding a place for it, help would be nice.

the amp turn on will ALWAYS be blue white on NAME BRAND head units, solid blue is power antenna and turns off when you switch to usb or cd or iPod, anything like that.

what brand deck? most brands follow the standard wire colors for decks, which would be blue/white. i have seen cheaper brands or no name brands that do not always use blue/white as the amp turn on.
valid point, but the OP was confirming that his blue white amp wire was the proper one. i'll fix my original post

Its a brand new Kenwood, decent deck, better than whatever ghetto Pioneer I had haha, I havnt re hooked it yet, but just wondering, if i turn on my lights and it cuts the sound, is that due to where my remote is wired? or the shitty wiring in my car.
Note: for the last thing I just said, My friend his dad and I re wired my system, new Speaker cables and all, we did it clean so I know its not what we did.

can u give some more infor on what your "system" consists of? are you running a 4ch for your speakers? If your turning your lights on and the audio stops then theres deff something wrong with the setup. If you have verified your correct amp turn on wire and its connected to the correct imput on the amp then i cant see that being the issue with your lights..was a harness used for the deck install? or was it hardwired (factory plugg cut)?
Running two speakers, and two sub woofers, off a 4 channel amp. Factory harness is still in. but the owners before have put in and taken out and re put in a system so there are 2 other harnesses... Its a big mess really....
ok here is the problem.... after trying to connect remote wire to the blue and white wire, nothing happens. In fact the deck wont turn on. The deck will only turn on if this orange and white wire goes to the blue and white wire, which from factory wire harness location, is the light dimmer, which explains why when i turn my head lights on it kills the deck, causing no sound. but that is the only way it will turn on. The remote wire was connected to my ignition wire in order for it to work and turn the amp on and so far is the only way.
Red wire is to ignition wire, yellow is to battery wire and black is to ground...

Recheck the HUs wiring, in the stock radio harness the red lead is illumination, [12V+ when park/head lights are on], there is not "dimmer" lead, [red] in the stock radio harness of a 92 Civic.
The yellow/red in the stock radio harness is radio accessory, [to HUs red lead].
The white/blue, [may be white/yellow] in the stock radio harness is the 12V constant, [hot at all times] [to HUs yellow lead].
The black lead is the ground.
Be very careful with what you do with the red/black illumination lead in the stock radio harness, it is best just to cap it off and not use it, the orange or orange/white on most aftermarket HUs is just there to dim the readout on the HU. 94

ok so the red/black wire is illumination? but ive checked everything, red the manual over and over. any suggestions on how I could wire it, do you need more details?
Yellow/red to red of HU
White/blue to yellow of HU
Black to black of HU
The amps control lead will connect to the HUs blue/white lead...
This is the wire colors, [except the red/black for illumination]http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.asp 94
