ok i have a t3/t4 turbo on my b16 and the turbo its an off brand i believe and the seals are starting to leak and i was wondering can i get like garret or someother brand interals to rebuild it on the turbo it says turbo.ZY <WL> A/R 50 m12 any help would be nice thanks

You can get them rebuilt, but wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy another one? lol

Of course, by the time you buy two, or buy one and then a rebuild, you would have spent as much as you would have on a brand name turbo... but you are still stuck with a shitty knock off.

 

well i bought the whole kit from a friend and everthing is turbonetics but the turbo the exhaust side of the turbo and the turbonetics logo on it but on the intake side it doesnt have anything about a brand so should i buy a turbonetics rebuild kit? also the turbo must be leakin from the exhaust side beucase no oil is in the intake side but and not sure if its oil or just exhaust build up but other than that how could it be leakin?

 

In order to buy the correct rebuild kit, you need to see what kind of compressor seal you have. There are a few different kinds. The first turbo I rebuilt had a carbon compressor seal, but my current turbo has a dynamic seal.
