Default idle problem

just put a b16a2 into a crx, have everything plugged up right (wiring harness atleast) but im still haveing a problem with how it idles.

i cant give a sound clip of the car but the best i can do is explain how it sounds
when i start it, it starts right up no problem at all but when idling it the engine does this thing that sounds like

brum (1 second silence) brum (1 second silence) brum and so on

im not 100 percent i got the vacuum plugged up correctly i couldnt find a vacuum diagram for the intake i have on the engine.

this is the closest picture i can find

there are two lines that come off the purge plug on the upper right and im not sure how to tie these into the vacuum system. i have them t'ed at the moment like some diagrams show. but then again im not even sure if the vacuum is doing it, any help would be appreciated.

Default Re: idle problem (onimudvayne)

the little vacuum nipple in the front (right hand side of the pic) goes to the fuel rail.

the big one in the back (sticking up to the side) goes to the brake booster of course.

the 2 little ones in the back, i have those both plugged BUT my charcoal canister is removed.....if i remember correctly, at least 1 of those was tied into that part.

sorry, not very specific help, but my car idles well.

good luck
