on jdmland.com, they sell the oem jdm headlights for the ek9, theres a option for either smoked chrome or black chrome ones. Which is the true original one, and what is the other one from?

are you saying that those ctr headlights are black chrome and the sir ones are smoked chrome, because those sir ones look like the usdm stock ones

 

notice the city lights

 

ya the CTR are the gunmetal chrome without the heatshield and has city light holes..i think the sir(2nd pic) also has the city light holes..USDM doesnt have city light holes

 

hmm. but its weird because on jdmland.com it says you can choose between smoked chrome or black chrome. that sir pic you showed doesnt looked black or smoked, the ctr one looks smoked, not black, but I have never seen a oem black headlight before, so was curious about the option

I cant give a direct link to the page because the url doesnt change, it is on the jdmland.com site under the 99-00 ctr headlights, I copied the description:

The "smoked or black chrome" is just a description. It's not regular chrome, but a smoked or blackened chrome.
