Default Timing Belt Keeps Hitting T-Belt Cover

I have a 2000 Gs-R. Pretty much stock except I/H/E and S2 IM.

My timing belt is hitting the timing belt cover. It makes a "slapping" noise and it's loud. It happened about a month ago and fixed it.

What could be causing it do this AGAIN?? Should I get a new T-belt?

The tensioner bolt is probably loose.

Did you diy, meaning change the timing belt.....or shop. well check to see if your missing the spacers that spaces the timing belt pulley from the block and the other between the timing pulley and the crank pulley.......something like this......[block]IOIQ

[block] = your block
I = spacer
O = timing pulley
Q = crank pulley
