Car is smoking, burning oil
I have a z6 motor. My motor's got about 75k miles on it. I checked my cylinder compression and it is good. Reads at 150 or 10 on the guage. I checked my friends EX and it was getting 145 or just under 10- on the guage. I am pretty sure that I was checking it right. Just screw the guage into the head and roll the car over 3-4 times.
Now I am not sure why the car is burning oil unless those compression numbers aren't good. But I am thinking they are fine.
Only thing I can think of is that the valves need to be redone in the head. Or maybe it is something else.
I'll be the first to admit that I am not sure what is wrong. I am just guessing. This is why I am here asking for help. Just trying to explain what I've done thus far to diagnos the problem.
Thanks for any help you have to offer...
Also. What is the rev limiter on the z6 motors set at from the factory?

Smoke is blue. And as far as the compression test I am not sure on the temp of the motor when I did it. I do know that it wasn't fully cooled down. It might have sat for an hour before I did it. And the guage showed 150 across the board.
