i did a b20b swap into my eg coupe... im running an obd2 ecu (with 1-2 adapter) and motor.. its throwing a CEL.. and i think im supposed to be running 2 o2 sensors.. is this correct?

if i am.. where do i add one in onto the harness?

 

i also have the option to run a obd1 ecu.. if i do that what would i need to change to make the motor run correctly?

 

i would just run a obd1 ecu on that. anyways, y are you running a obd2 ecu in a obd1 car???

 

just swap in the obd-2 ecu and it wont have a code. motor will run the same. there are many ppl using obd-2 motors with obd-1 ecu, runs the same

 

the obd1 ecu causes a varying idle and rev... it runs just fine on the obd2 ecu.. i drive it around daily.. but i wanna try to kill the CEL if i can
