OBD2 car running an OBD1 ecu how do I pull codes????
I have an EK and I am running a P72 ecu which is OBD1 right? so how would I get the codes?

there are both obd1 and obd2 P72 ecu's. if you have an obd1 or obd2 ecu, checking the codes are the same: use the procedure outlined in the sticky aboce
