hondata s300 qustion:why cant give more ignition???
i have tryed many things but i cannot give more ignition,at boost @high rpm.
it does not matter that i set 25 or 20 the ecu gives only 20-21

havent messed with the hondata yet, as in tuning myself, but is not on your log? or if you try to increase it doesnt let you on the map?
what ecu? knock enabled? if so is it pulling timing?

IAT/ECT temps? What does your ECT/IAT timing adjustments look like in the advanced tables?
If your engine is getting too hot the ECU will pull timing for safety reasons.

yeah
knock disabled.
iat is 43celsius at the log.
ect is 95celsius
pressure is 24psi
it doesd not matter wich rpm range is the engine the ignition is 20-21
at the tables the values are like:25 25 25 25 25 25 at every cell.
i can give timing at the distributor.

43 Degrees celcius falls between 42 and 61 no?
Since it falls between, it's going to take the average of -3 and -5.

Yeah, probably true, but either way I don't believe Hondata displays a decimal point so anything higher than 3 will just be 21.
I'm still waiting for my ECU to come back from Hondata so I can start tuning it.
