Default Rear Sway Bar Bracket.... BROKEN ....How should I go about fixing?

Well, a week ago, I started hearing a lot of noise coming from the rear passenger side of my 94 GSR. I knew it was suspension related since it only made a lot of noise when I was going sideways up or down driveways. See pics below from what I found when I jacked up my car:

So my question is, what are my options and how do I go about fixing this? I was thinking about bringing it some where to have a small plate of metal welded to cover the hole, then drill it out where the bolt should go, then get an asr brace with the itr rear sway bar and beaks kit.... This sucks.... Any suggestions?

Damn dude that sucks, I saw someone on here with the a similar situation, he had it welded like you were thinking and then the asr brace. Hope it don't cost you too much man, I wanna see that new engine in place this summer!

I think you are on the right track. Have a plate welded over the entire opening and a new hole drilled to receive the bolt. Are you replacing the cracked bracket?

I might just end up ditching this sway bar (i believe its made by neuspeed.....came on the car when I bought it).....but if I can fix the hole, then I'll probably just end up getting the asr brace + jdm itr rear sway. crossing my fingers....
