Look what happened to my rear sway bar.
While driving, I was hearing a noise in the rear so when I went to check it out, this is what I found. I was using an ST swaybar when this happened. Anyone experience this problem? What's the best solution? I'm figuring I'll just weld the bracket back on.
The last pic shows what the subframe is supposed to look like. Any help would be appreciated!

Yah it's happened to several people with beefier rear sways. I've seen people either weld just the bracket back or others have welded a new plate in there to make it even stronger.

Re: (Yield)
order a set of rear swaybar brackets from Neuspeeds (call them up -part isn't listed on their website by itself, only with the rear sway) and you're good to go - no custom fab necessary.
The Neuspeed mounts make the stock ones look like a joke

But the mounts didn't break, the chassis did!
You MUST get stiffer springs on the back, what is your current suspension setup?

You should add a bar/plate to reinforce the area instead of just welding it all back together.

I believe it's 1" in diameter. It was on the car when I bought it. I'll probably just weld the bracket to a steel plate and then the plate to the chassis.

Progress sells their rear bar with a custom 3-bolt mount included for both sides. It's waaayyy beefier than the stock mount.
With what you have there I would clean off the rust the best you can and have it welded back on stronger than it came stock....
