is your check engine light on? you need to describe the problem a bit better.

If it is bogging on the throttle and not at idle it is probably the timing. A friend of mine had a timing belt jump and tooth and had the same problem.

well the check engine light has been on because of the swap. the problem is when I'am driving and giving gas the car is like boggin out or delaying accerlating. and the only way of keeping it from boggin out is to pop the clutch and give it more gas

Basic mechanics.

1. Do a tune-up

Why? Well why not? It'll be good for your car and could solve your problem.

- Fuel Filter
- Cap/rotor
- plugs/wires
- oil/oil filter
- tranny oil

2. You can adjust your throttle body for quicker throttle response. That might help.

3. You can run some Seafoam in your gas tank, oil, and vacuum lines. That'll kill out some built up **** in your engine and will smoke out of your exhaust.

4. You could be running rich. Get a fuel pressure regulator and tune it down.

well running rich can also be contributed to the timing, i am not saying this is for sure the problem but it is a possibility because my sohc zc swap was running rich for the past two months until i noticed that the timing belt was off two teeth advanced. I must say though it was responsive as hell.
