Default Ebay Catch can? Can I make use of it with my FI set up?

Hey guys, well i've had this ebay catch can sitting doing nothing really.

It has a oil drain back, but does not have a spot on top for a filter.

Im just wondering if I can use this thing to relieve my stock PCV system?

As of Right now, im running 9lbs of boost with my stock PCV system hooked up like normal, and alot of ppl have told me to get that out the way ASAP.

I was thinking of disconnecting the line from my PCV to Intake mani, and hooking up the line from catch can to the intake mani in place of that........and the the other line from valve cover into the 2nd line going in the catch can?

Would this even work?

Searching as well.

Im getting mostly about moroso or endyn catch cans however.

Im just wondering if this ebay one will do the job.

I can drill and top out the top and get a barb fitting and throw a filter on it too, if that would help I guess.

I pretty much, did the same. I ended up using vacuum caps to cap off the stock pcv setup and left the breather box installed........ I did end up installing one of those honda breather ports and removed the hex plug. Then i ran one hose from the breather port to catch can and one from the valve cover to catch can......... seems to be working fine on a 320-340hp setup.

OK guys, I went ahead and tapped the Catch Can today with a 3/8th NPT Tap and got a matching Barb Fitting. Got a K&N Breather Filter to fit. So that was all good.

I ran one line from the nipple off my Valve Cover into the catch can.

And I disconnected the Line that used to Run from the PCV valve (black box) behind the block to the INtake manifold. And I made a Longer line and Ran it from the Intake Manifold vacuum into the Catch Can.

Is that the correct way?

Let me know

Thanks
Travis

Cap off everything that went to the IM as far as the pcv system is concerned. You can probably run one line off the factory breather box to the catch can.......
