Default Ebay oil lines, careful

When under extreme heat, the line used for oil feed must be able to maintain integrity, or else it will become extremely frail and simply melt/break apart.
Bottom line: The oil lines from an ebay kit are not legit, do not use them at all or for a long time, or at least be careful.
-Thanks

Obviously depends on the kit, i'm speaking more about the ssautochrome lines. When taken to a place that specializes in engineering hoses and fittings, Their take was, "it's garbage."
When asked what's the difference between their hose and the ebay "garbage" one, their response?...
"Exactly what it is, garbage."

As Far as dealing with heat; something to be aware of...
Finally, look into exhaust wrap. It can be pretty helpfull.

Even name brand lines will fail if they are placed in close proximity to hot exhaust housings or manifolds.

I run a Stealthmode oil feed line near my ramhorn manifold with no problems.

The key is to get a teflon-coated line.
