will a OBD2 JDM VTEC solenoid work on a USDM OBD2 Motor & ECU?

I have a USDM B16 motor which is OBD2. I need to get a VTEC soloenoid and I have found one that from a JDM OBD2 motor.

Will this work on the USDM motor with the stock EM1 or ITR Ecu?

Nobody knows?
I know most JDM ECU's will work just fine, but anyone know if the JDM ECU will work for US emissions?

theres two wires that you gotta jump on the ecu, ii forget which ones they are. or you could use the pressure switch from another vtec solenoid. whatever you wanna do!
