Default Mini Me Help?

I know i saw it on here before but i searched and cant find anything. What is the difference when doing a mini me on a 92 cx? I think it has something to do with the wiring but not sure. Any help? Thanks

It will require the VTEC head (obviously). Also an ECU that has vtec, for your Cx that would probably mean a p28 (obd1 + vtec). Make sure its a 5spd ecu too(or automatic if you cars auto) . Also, since VTEC isnt in the Cx Wiring harness, you can either invest in any 92-95 ex\si wiring harness (easiet way) that has the VTEC plugs already in it, or wire it up yourself.
Also, since you have the CX, you also have the longest gears in any SOHC tranny. I would think about looking for a z6 tranny, of any 92-95 Ex or Si, it would benefit you greatly.

I thought i read on here somewhere thatt he 92's were already wired for vtec? I might have just misread something though. N yeah i know the tranny really sucks. Thats def. my next investment.

I just need to know whether or not I need to get a different harness or if the 92 cx is pre wired for vtec? If it is not how can i wire it into my existing harness? I know that it will need wired into the ecu. Thanks for the input though.

Don't you have an 8 valve engine? And you're going to swap a 16 valve head on it?

The valves are in the head not the block. So im taking my 8 valve head off and putting a 16 vavle head on. All I need to know is how to wire the vtec into my 92 cx? Im almost positive that there is a major wiring difference in the wiring of a 92 mini me swap. Anybody?

just get an EX/Si engine harness, the 92's are wired for VTEC to the ECU as well so it'll be plug and play with a P28, if you go the D16Z6 way

But the valve reliefs are in the pistons, which are in the block. I know a few b8's have 16 valve reliefs, but make sure yours is one of them. Otherwise, you're going to be very disappointed when you pull your head.
