Yesterday I was parked in my buddies driveway, went to leave and couldnt get the car into reverse. I shut the car off then put it in reverse and started it up. The car jolts like its in gear even with my clutch in.
I drive it for a bitt and can't get it into first either. Everyother gear is hard to get into as well.
I went and checked my tranny fluid to make sure it was full. It was really low, so I filled it up.
I drove it to work last night and still had the same problems. Wont go into first or reverse without the car being off, and its extremely hard to shift the other gears.
I tried adjusting the clutch cable but it didnt seem to help.
Anyone have any insight on what to try next?? TOA

Bent shift fork? Bent something. Time to open her up or buy a replacement.
Try tech/misc for tranny help also. It is basically the "tranny" section of H-T.

Does it make a grinding noise or is it just hard to put into gear? Is your shift linkage hitting anything? Shift gears and have someone under the car check. Check your bushings also.
