Default b series block question

so im ls/vtec'd and running 6 psi. things are great but i want more boost. im wondering if anyone has had any expirience with block guards? sleeves are cool for like 20+ psi. but im looking for 15, anyone know anything about that? do block guards kick *** or are they stupid.

block gaurds are a good idea ... reselveing it is pretty but a lot more. also if you are running stock pistons then i wouldnt go over 10-12psi just to be safe.. also block gaurd is more to help with higher rpms not do much for boosted engines.. also what head are you running and all that fun stuff.

you dont need a block guard, you cant judge by boost either. Its the amount of hp. you can easily get 300-350 out of your motor. Go get it tuned and call it a day.
